The mission of a quality, African controlled, socialization process is more than a basic response to oppression. It is also a fundamental path to promote healthy individual and collective development, while preventing cultural genocide. There is not more serious work for us than to do our part to regain primary control of the socialization of our children, and to base our design for contemporary African education in the best of our traditional structures.
